If you have knitted a sweater or two, but still don’t feel in control of the finishing process, this class is for you. Working on a baby-sweater and swatches, you will learn the basics of full-fashioned shaping, blocking, and seaming stockinette and garter stitch. You will learn to pick up stitches flawlessly and to alter stair-stepped shoulder directions to short rows using the 3-needle bind-off. You will learn to make and space buttonholes. Conquer those finishing phobias!
Prerequisite: Knitting II, or equivalent
Instructor: Cyndi Shepherd
Date: Mondays - 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6; 2014
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

We will be using the smooth side of the long-tail cast-on as the right side of our class sweater.
