Stephanie Pearl-McPhee is a writer, mother, blogger, knitting humourist and philosopher and the author of seven funny but mostly useless books that have something to do with knitting, two of which spent a few glorious weeks at the very bottom of the New York Times Bestsellers list. She lives in Toronto, Canada with assorted teenaged daughters and a long suffering husband, all of whom have her outsmarted. Stephanie avoids housework, loves to talk about knitting and has had two cats in a row that don't like her much. She keeps the blog Yarnharlot.ca in her inestimable spare time.

Knitting for Speed and Efficiency

Comments about Stephanie Pearl McPhee:
Oh My Goddess!
If you have the $ to take one knitting class in your life . . . this is the one to take!
She revolutionized my knitting and, it goes without saying for a knitter of 45 years, she revolutionized my life.
We all know how witty she is. We all know she is laugh-out-loud-and-scare-your-cat funny. Her wisdom was simple: "you need to slow down to knit fast". And her compassion was deep: "you knit the way you do because you are a unique individual".
The only thing I would add to this experience is the WEBS needs to carry knitting belts (Maakin belts).
