Soft with just a little shine

... a little heavier than I expected and a bit thick&thin, but not too bad. Knits up fairly easily, with decent stitch definition and a slight haze.

I adore Grace Hand Dyed yarns and regret the color choices are dwindling. I loved the color way I bought based upon the photo on your website. However, the skeins I received are really unattractive and pale compared to the rich colors online. I would love to return them because I will never use them. Everyone who has seen them think they are ugly.

Comments about Louisa Harding Grace Hand Dyed Discontinued Colors:

I have not knit with the yarn yet, however, so far I love it. It is very soft and the colors were better than the pictures. I do hope it knits and keeps well. We'll see.

Comments about Louisa Harding Grace Hand Dyed Discontinued Colors:

I love this yarn! It's really soft. I had used the only 2 skeins I had in my stash, and when I found more of this yarn on your website at half price, I was thrilled. The colors are even prettier in person. I bought Merry, Crackle & Delphinium. I'm currently knitting an infinity scarf with crackle.

              Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt. Customer service is great! They are prompt in answering email & very helpful.

This is lovely when used as edging or as color strands or rows in larger project. Shimmering, luminous silky colors illuminate other base yarns to great effect

Comments about Louisa Harding Grace Hand Dyed Discontinued Colors:

This is a gorgeous yarn -- and I knit a lot! My only concern is that, as the manufacturer states, you need to be mindful that no two skeins of the same color will necessarily have the same range of shades. I found the effect interesting but my daughter had to discard a skein that contrasted too much with all the others she'd bought for a shawl. The suggested solution to work from two skeins, alternating them, is impractical. This concern aside, I wouldn't hesitate to use this yarn again.

I asked for the skeins to be similar in color value ( on a pretty variegated color way), and they were very well matched.
