Shibui Pebble is a soft & luscious blend of silk, wool and cashmere. This fingering weight yarn exhibits a gentle tweedy effect, created by the small slubs that entwine the core fibers. The silk content gives this yarn strength and drape, the wool offers elasticity and loft, and the cashmere adds softness. Made in Japan

I am knitting a hat with "pollen" in this yarn held with a strand of Silk Cloud in the same color. It is so pretty that it hurts. It is very expensive, but worth it perhaps, if you want it badly enough. I have lusted for a sweater of this yarn combo. Depending on how the hat turns out and holds up to a delicate wash, I will spring for the yarn to make myself a sweater.

Not Sport Weight

Information from yarn brand indicates that this is a heavy lace weight/very light fingering. It is being used double in most pattern support and still around 25st/4". I love the colors and would love to work with it, but doubling it doubles the price, so no sweater for me! The colors are, as always, really gorgeous though.
