Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

I found this yarn to be very soft and light. I chose to do the jumper on 3 and 7 (3.25mm & 4.00mm) needles for a firmer knit and have found this tension better than the recommended needles. I'll be back for more!

Colors not as bright as expected. That white thread throughout adds to the dullness.

Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

Intense, lovely, saturated colors in an incredibly soft yarn. Everything the other commenters have said is true: very noticeable white core; each skein is wildly different; tricky to work with for someone with only a moderate experience with mohair. That being said, however, none of these qualities were deal breakers for the project I was making. (If anything, the white core peaking through livened up what would other wise have been a dark, leaden purple/black fabric.) I made a large shawl, using four skeins (about 2'x6', on size tens, stockinette stitch.) In the past I had only used mohair that came in balls, so I was unprepared for how tricky it would be to work with mohair that came in skeins. For this reason I would never use this yarn again.

Beautiful colors and soft to the touch. Using it with Alpaca chunky yarn(black). It blends nicely and gives the piece a hint of luxury.

Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

This yarn is a great buy and overall, more than satisfactory. My only quibble is the white core thread that didn't absorb the dye and is noticeable in spots. It's fine in the final knitted product though.

Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

I made one cowl with, # 7, 16" circular needles. The piece came out great looking, with the colors dispersed nicely. It's incredibly warm! I'm using two skeins of the "same" color to make a hooded/cowl. I'm switching colors every 4th round and it's working out well. The skeins are very different color wise, but go together very well.
