I’ve used Cascade 220 for knitting hats and it has never failed me.
This is a lovely yarn to work with. It’s soft in the hands and knits up well. My only real comment is that it’s more akin to a light-worsted/DK-weight yarn as opposed to the worsted/aran-weight that it’s listed and sold as. I will definitely be using it again in the future.
Perfect for what I was looking for. Colors and weight… Cascade 220 is a classic tarn for le and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a great choice of colors.
Love this yarn! Great colors, soft stretchy and easy to knit. Works up beautifully and washes and wears exceptionally!

This has been excellent for stranded knitting. I drop stitches constantly and while using this yarn they don't unravel all the way before I notice, nice and sticky. I don't really like to use this yarn for sweaters unless I use it on smaller needles. The sweater I knitted at 22 stitches per 4" pilled quite a lot, but it was fine when knitted tighter.
Long time knitter who usually uses Madtosh or Malabrigo. First time using Cascade 220. I like it! I'll use it again.
I bought them for my daughter-in-law. She loved them.
