What can I make?
Amanda Berry's free Knitsicles PDF includes five knitted frozen-treat designs: two popsicles, an ice cream wafer cup, a gelato tub and an ice cream cone. The designs range from approximately 5½ to 10 inches tall.
What yarn does the pattern use?
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK. The pattern's materials list specifies one 100g ball in each of 11 shades. These are full balls, not a premeasured pack; small details will leave yarn for other projects.
Are all the pictured colors available?
Stock is shown beside each shade. Sold-out colors are not added to your order. Use the color-edit button on those rows to choose an in-stock Simply DK shade instead. Check all 11 rows before buying if you want yarn for the full set.
What else do I need?
The yarn selection does not include toy stuffing, needles or finishing tools. The pattern calls for 3mm needles, including double-pointed needles. Read the free PDF for the complete supply list and assembly instructions. Needle options in the builder are separate purchases.
Is this a beginner project?
The pattern is rated intermediate. Expect shaping, small knitted pieces, seaming and finishing. This is a knitting pattern, not a crochet pattern.
Is the pattern free?
Yes. The English-language, 12-page PDF is free. Yarn and any optional tools are purchased separately. Use the pattern item in the builder to access the download; you may be asked to sign in.
