BULKY #5 WEIGHT YARN:
Baby: 550 - 580 yards
Small: 690 - 730 yards
Medium: 860 - 900 yards
Large: 1150 - 1200 yards
XL: 1330 - 1400 yards
XXL: 1850 - 1950 yards
GAUGE:
Pattern stitch with US 10.5 needles: 12 sts & 18 rows = 4”
A different gauge may require more (or less) yarn.
Blankets knit flat, in one piece, back & forth on circular needles to accommodate large number of stitches.
You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit & purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches & weave in ends. Blocking of finished knitting is highly recommended.
