Together we will learn 4 ways to add beads to your knitting – a beaded cast on, 2 techniques to add beads to knitting, and a beaded bind off, all while creating this beautiful cool weather accessory!

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Format: Virtual

Prerequisite: Must know how to knit in the round on a circular needle
Materials Required:

Brillare Cowl pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/brillare-cowl

YARN: About 140 (160, 180) yards DK weight yarn. The sample was made with Valley Yarns Northfield

BEADS: 288 (360, 440) size 6/0 seed beads

NEEDLES: US 6/4mm circular needle with a 16” cord

OTHER MATERIALS: crochet hook small enough to fit into your beads, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, big eye needle to help with pre-stringing beads, stitch marker, Oral B Superfloss (available at drugstores or on Amazon. This is not regular dental floss)

HOMEWORK:

There will be weekly homework assignments.
