Product Description
*This class fulfills the Non-knitting Elective Requirement for WEKP.
Get set up for success with a basic introductory level workshop covering the spinning wheel and its design, the process of preparing fiber for spinning, beginning to spin, understanding the main drafting styles, and how to troubleshoot common snags while learning.
You may bring a modern wheel in good working condition, or use this class as a way to decide what type of wheel you may want to purchase in the future.
For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.
Format: In-Person
Prerequisite: Introduction to Drop Spindle spinning class highly recommended
Materials Required:
Modern spinning wheel in good working order
Mixed BFL fiber 2-4 oz
Note taking materials

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
