The yarn sold as a "kit" with this pattern is soft and easy to knit. Even for a short person, however, the top is quite short/ cropped even. I've added one extra skein on the front AND on the back. The result seems pretty perfect. I would have given this 5 stars had I not needed to revise the pattern.

Good basic pattern

The instructions for the back specify knitting 21.5" from the cast on edge. This is incorrect. This is the blocked measurement according to the schematic. It's more like 18", pre-blocked.

I found the pattern so easy to follow, it was a bit short so I added 1/2 a repeat and it came out perfect. I used Great Adirondack organic cotton, my sister loves it!

Comments about KELBOURNE WOOLENS Stone Point PDF:

I have not finished knitting this yet, but I am giving it 5 stars based on how it is going so far. I ordered the pattern only and am knitting it with Plymouth Jeannee yarn. It is knitting up very nicely. I have taken to heart the other reviews and purchased more yarn than the pattern specified. The pattern is very well written and is fun to knit.

The pattern is easy to work. The yarn is really beautiful but it was not enough, I reordered one more hank and this was sufficient.
