Construction Method and Techniques

This blanket is constructed using a bottom-up, seamed approach worked flat on circular needles. Rather than being knitted as a single piece, the blanket is strategically worked in 5 separate strips that are later sewn together, matching stripes carefully. This modular construction method makes the project more manageable and portable during the knitting process.

The blanket features side borders and top and bottom borders that are picked up and knitted after the main strips are complete and joined.
