Shetland Throw

This lovely, softly toned throw in Rowan Felted Tweed DK has beautifully subtle blends of colour, just like the traditional dyes of Shetland wool. It is made from patched squares of two alternating colourways, knitted using the Fairisle technique. Each patch measures 19cm/7.5in square. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct tension. The patches are sewn together at the end, like patchwork. The smaller size is ideal as a knee rug or chair back throw, while the larger size makes a good bed cover.
