Sweet Lullaby Seamless Hooded Blanket

This soft, snuggly blanket is perfect to wrap your baby in. Blanket, hood, and border are knit in the round in one piece―no seaming, no picking up stitches. The pattern has both written and charted instructions, and includes guidelines for adapting it to any gauge or size, so you can make one for a doll, for your toddler, or even (if you’re feeling ambitious) for yourself. This also means that getting exact gauge is less important than getting a fabric you like. Pattern uses twisted yarn over increases and short row shaping; explanations for these techniques are included.

Sample is shown in Knit Picks Simply Cotton Worsted; green & blue version shown is in Malabrigo Rios. Blanket can also be made with other weights of yarn using the simple guidelines provided with the pattern.

Needles required: (5) 4.5mm/US 7 DPNs or size to obtain gauge, 32" 4.5mm circular or size to obtain gauge. 24" and 40" circular needles are helpful but not required.
