The Fibre Co Hair Necessities is a fun and functional way to get to know &Make DK yarn and have handmade everyday items at the ready. With three design options each for a headband and scrunchie, you can mix and match and get lots of projects from one pattern. Make your favorites and enjoy making additional versions for friends or family! The headband is worked flat in one piece and seamed with a twist for an extra bit of flair. The scrunchie is knit in the round in one piece, folded over an elastic hair tie, and seamed. &Make DK is a versatile blend of wool, alpaca, and linen that has great texture and stitch definition that's perfect for projects from accessories to sweaters. 

Sizes:
    Headband – 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
    Scrunchie – One Size
Finished Measurements:
    Headband – 15 (16½, 19, 21, 22½, 24)” circumference and 3½” wide
    Scrunchie – 14” circumference and 4” wide
Yarn Requirements: The Fibre Co. &Make DK (55% Wool/ 35% Alpaca/ 10% Linen; 50g/137yds)
    1 ball is enough for 2 scrunchies or 1 scrunchie and 1 headband in sizes 1–3
    2 balls is enough for 2–3 scrunchies and 1 headband in sizes 4–6
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm)
    Headband – single points, circular, or DPNs
    Scrunchie – DPNs or short circulars
Gauge: 24 sts and 30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking
