Fibre Co. Purls of Wisdom Sweater (Aran) is a fabulous women’s top-down pullover knit in &Make Aran. This lovely must-have in your essentials wardrobe has two options: a classic one-color pullover or customization for knitting it in four colors. Purls of Wisdom is knit in the round seamlessly from the top down. When the yoke is finished, the sleeve stitches are put on hold, and then the body is knit down to the hem. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round down to the cuffs. &Make Aran is a lovely Highland wool and alpaca blend that is perfect for this pullover.

    One Color Pullover – 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) (7, 8, 8, 9) balls shown in Silver Screen
    Four Color Pullover – 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) (6, 6, 6, 7) balls shown in Indigo Child and 1 ball each in Smiley, Silver Screen, and Lit. – Note: WEBS do not carry the color Lit.
Needles:
    US 7 (4.50mm) 24–40” circular for hem ribbing and DPNs for neck and cuff ribbing
    US 8 (5.00mm) 24–40” circular and DPNs to get gauge
Gauge: 16 sts and 22 rnds = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 8 (5.00mm), after blocking
