Synthetic fibers such as acrylic and microfibers are durable, long wearing yarns that know how to hold their shape and color! Unlike other fibers, acrylics and microfibers have low moisture uptake which makes them perfect for things like baby clothes and blankets, or outerwear like mittens and hats.
Felting with acrylic and microfibers isn't generally a concern which is why many are machine-washable, but pay attention to the care instructions to make sure you get the most from your work!
