Knitter's Pride Special Interchangeable Circular Knitting Needles

What makes Knitter's Pride Special Interchangeable Circular Needles different from the other interchangeable tips and sets from Knitter's Pride? The special tips are shorter than the regular options at 4" and combine with the special 8" cord to produce circular needles 16" in length. These shorter tips are fully interchangeable with all of the cords and end caps offered by Knitter's Pride and are great options to have in your needle case! Please Note: Special 8" cords work with the special tips, but are not compatible with the regular length tips.
