Knitter's Pride Karbonz Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips have the spectacular flex and tensile strength of carbon fiber, the same material used in aerospace engineering, with a warm feel like wood. These special tips are shorter than the standard tips, specially designed to produce circulars in 16” lengths when combined with the 16" cable. It's best to tighten your needles by holding the base. These needles offer a smooth, but not slippery, surface. They have sharp tips that work well for cables. They are also the only interchangeable needles that I have used far that haven’t separated the needle from the cable.
