Product Description
Wrap yourself in this luxe, multi-textured, supremely soft cardigan. With its generous dolman sleeves, open draped front, and the option of wearing it upside-down for a shawl collar, this cardigan will be your ultimate go-to piece.
Simple shaping starts with long rows of an easy-to-learn lace pattern that transitions into a slightly different, more delicate lace. Then, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge to knit down using a wide twisted rib stitch pattern that looks great on both sides.
Front overlapping draped pieces are then picked up and gently angled to create the unique shape.
Lastly, the ribbed cuffs and back neckline are picked up and knit to finish. Just a little bit of seaming completes it all.
Worn as shown, the front sections drape architecturally, or they can be overlapped and secured with a shawl pin. The clean front works fabulously with a thick knit cowl.
OR, flip the cardigan over and wear it upside down! You'll then be sporting a cozy shawl collar with angled front hems.
