Product Description
Blankets are like a playground for interesting stitch patterns. And, I for one, need an interesting stitch pattern if I'm knitting up a baby blanket (and even more so for an adult-sized blanket) or I'll pass out from boredom! This stitch pattern doesn't disappoint. It's comprised of simple cable techniques, is pleasingly symmetric, and produces a lovely, intricate-looking design.
Cables are first established within a seed stitch border. The stitches of the cable then spread out, and then come back in, before they get twisted again. The pattern staggers, forming cool, medallion-like shapes.
This is a fairly easy-to-learn cable pattern for intermediate to experienced cable knitters. Those newer to cables can follow the chart and/or written instructions.
