AINO

AINO is worked in rounds seamlessly from the top down. Neckband, hem band and sleeve cuffs are worked in k1tbl, p1 ribbing. The neckline is shaped by using the german short rows technique. This pattern uses the contiguous method to form the shoulder yokes.

MATERIAL

The sample shown is worked with KREA DELUXE ORGANIC WOOL 1, 270m/50g

NEEDLES

Circular needles and double pointed needles ( or magic loop) US 4 (3.5 mm) and US5 (3,75 mm) or needles to get gauge.

GAUGE

24 sts x 36 rows on larger needles, in stockinette stitch for 4 x 4 inch (10x10 cm) 28 sts x 42 rows on smaller needles in ribbing k1tbl, p1 for 4 x 4 inch (10x10 cm)

TOOLS

Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder.

REQUIREMENTS

Knitting in the round and flat with circular needle and dpns or magic loop for sleeves, sh-row shaping using german sh-rows, slanted increases M1L / M1R knit wise and purl wise, contiguous method.

MEASUREMENTS

All measurements are from the finished and washed sweater.
