Alliyma Nunoa is a super soft, 100% alpaca yarn that is hand-spun in Peru. This yarn comes in natural colors that are spun together to offer a rich shade contrast in each hank. This bulky yarn is a great go-to for cowls, hats, and other accessories that benefit from the warmth, softness, and drape of alpaca.
All proceeds from Alliyma yarn sales go to fund Quechua Benefit, an organization that works to break the cycle of poverty through Economic Empowerment, Education, and Preventative Medicine to greatly improve the lives of the Quechua people who produce this fiber.
Note: The ball band for this yarn doesn't include gauge information, we estimate that Nunoa will knit as a bulky yarn with approximately 3 sts = 1" on a US 10-11. For crochet we suggest a J, K or L crochet hook.
