This pattern is written for three gauges. The length of the foot determines the fit of the sock (9"-13"). For a narrower foot use one needle size smallers. Wool/nylon sock yarn or 100% wool & wool blends that are tightly plyed are recommended. Wool/nylon heel yarn or nylon to knit into the heel can also be used.

US #3 dpns or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge: 5.5 sts = 1"
