It’s autumn in the forest, and this wreath celebrates the season as the nights draw in and woodlands change colour. The decorations include leaves, acorns, birds and forest animals. This knitting pattern includes the instructions to knit a wreath cover, and all of the decorative elements you can see in the photograph which includes Acorns, Blackbird, Branch, Bunny & Rabbit Hole, Conkers & Shells, Grass Leaves, Hedgehog, Holly Sprig, Horse Chestnut Leaves, Ladybirds, Mistletoe Leaves & Berries, Mole & Molehill, Mouse, Oak Leaves, Owl, Poinsettia, Robin, Silver Birch Leaves, Sloe Bush Leaves & Berries, Snail, Squirrel, and Toadstools. These decorative elements can also be used to decorate other projects, or use them to make brooches or decorate hair slides. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, all pieces are knitted in 100% merino wool DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Some pieces are knitted tubes (i-cord) which is worked on two DPNs.
