Stylish, sturdy and handmade? It’s true! This approachable crochet pattern combines easy stitches to create a bag that is both durable and functional. Load it up for a picnic or a day at the beach--it’ll hold it’s shape while you’re on the go. With an interior phone pocket and optional non-stretch straps, you may just be inspired to crochet a tote in every color.
This pattern can be made with any flat "tape" style yarn, including Lion Brand Rewind or a type of raffia. Substituting a two strands of worsted weight cotton or jute will also work.
The PDF includes a written pattern and photo tutorial. Photos are separate from written pattern so you can choose to print them or conserve ink.
