Baby hats with flaps and matching mittens

These little hats and mittens on strings are made in soft wool and make a lovely being born present. Instructions are given for two sizes , going up to a year. It's ideal for using up odds and ends of yarn or made in a luxurious one such as cashmere or wool/alpaca mix for a special gift. The skills used to make the edgings and ties are very simple, yet effective and are transferrableto other projects.
