This shawl is created using the crochet technique, specifically designed to be worked in the round from the center outward. The seamless construction eliminates the need for seaming, as the entire piece develops as one continuous fabric. The pattern begins with a sliding loop foundation and progresses through multiple rounds that expand the triangular shape systematically.
Yarn: The pattern calls for two yarns held together throughout the project. Berroco Carousel (100 grams per ball) in colorway #4423 Dunk Tank requires 3 balls, combined with Berroco Aerial (25 grams per ball) in colorway #3454 Lilac, requiring 4 balls. Holding these two distinct yarns together creates color blending and textural interest.
Tools: A size H / 5 mm crochet hook is required, or the size needed to obtain proper gauge. Gauge is measured after blocking and should produce a full triangle measuring 4 inches on each side.

Easy pattern makes a beautiful shawl, or scarf! The instructions for joining the motifs are clear and easy to follow. I'm currently working on 3 different projects using this pattern. Different yarn styles and weight (for scarves) come out looking very different, very unique.
