Berroco Carolee PDF
Double yarnovers are used to produce an open, airy eyelet stitch in the Berroco Carolee shawl. This asymmetrical shawl starts at the narrowest edge and widens before stitches are bound off in sections to form the scalloped edge. Knit in Ginkgo an impressively soft blend of silk and wool in a worsted weight yarn. A strand of wool and a strand of silk are plied together, then plied again. The dye takes up in a different way with each fiber, giving this yarn a distinctive visual texture. This is one you’ll want to knit for yourself and another for your BFF. The lace pattern is written and charted.
