Each of the skeins had at least one knot that tied two strands together, if not more. The skeins also often weighed less than 100 grams. One skein weighed 102, but that was the outlier. This yarn has a lovely hand because of the amount of silk in it but needles have a tendency to catch -meaning pick up a small "thread like" piece from a different stitch (not splitty but the catch slows down you work.) I would probably not buy this again, especially at the price of $29.00 a skein.
