Berroco Renew blends recycled wool, nylon, and cashmere with sustainably sourced viscose to create a velvety soft and squishable yarn that you’ll feel great about using! This DK to worsted weight yarn is smooth and round, making it perfect for texture patterns and cables as well as soothing stockinette. Choose Renew for your next sweater or for cowls, wraps, and scarves—it will work up into a fabric that gives a beautiful second life to recycled fibers and sports first-rate softness.

Note: Recycled garments come from fashion mills all over the world and are separated by color and by composition. There is no traceability for the garments as they are ripped and turned into roving for new yarn.

    I purchased a small amount of this yarn and then realized it was not going to be enough. I set it aside and went back

    for something similar, since what I had purchased had been a closeout. Found one similar and ordered. To my surprise it was the same yarn I had purchased before-----and get this, it was the same dye lot. I thought I had won the lottery. Yes, I love this yarn. No pilling, no separation of strands, beautiful subtle color, draped but with body, and best of all, not scratchy.

    Ugh, limp, splitty nightmare of a yarn, pretty color , couldn’t bear to use it, knitted a swatch and that was enough.
