This yarn is very easy to knit. It has a firmer twist which will probably wear better, but isn’t as soft to the touch. Four stars for knitting ( the firmer yarn means fewer split stitches). While I would love to shop in the store, on line shopping is easy.

I bought 3 different skeins for 3 different pair of socks. I am presently making one of the pairs and love the striping pattern. This yarn is not the softest but it is plenty soft for warm wool socks. It is easy to work with and will make a wonderful gift for anyone.
