This is easy to knit with. Nice and soft but I think the vest will be cozy warm when finished
This is a remarkably soft yarn that knits up beautifully.
I have used this yarn in 2 projects - an all-over cabled cardigan and a brioche stitch scarf. In both projects, the yarn looks great! I have always been a big fan of chainette yarns for their lightweight and squishy qualities, and Talara is all of that and more. It is also nice and soft and great quality for the price. It is pretty splitty, but that doesn’t stop me from using it. There is a good combination of fuzz and stitch definition in my cabled project so the texture is still visible. I will definitely be getting more of this in the future.
Nice chainette type yarn, easy to work with. After blocking, minimal shrinkage in both length and width (soak in cool, squeeze out excess, and air dry)
