For years the Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light, Worsted and Chunky has been my go-to Alpaca yarn. This Alpaca Yarn is offered in many beautiful colors of excellent quality that lasts a lifetime. The tunics I knitted 25 years ago still look new after several washings with Eucalan. I highly recommend this whole line of Alpaca yarns.
I swatched for the Weekender Vest from Purl Soho. It blocked well and seems to be soft against the skin.
I'm using it for a project, and I've used it before. The yarn market seems to be shrinking with fewer selections available. This is an old stand by I can count on.
Ultra Alpaca light was wonderful to knit with and the color was true to the picture online. I was very pleased with the hat I knit for a friend.
I love this yarn. There are lots of colors to choose from and it's easy to knit with. The feel is soft a abit squishy and I can wear it next to my skin without it being scratchy.and isn't too warm..
I loved the texture of this yarn and all the available colors. It was very strong given its weight.
