A very cosy sweater that is knitting up very quickly. We've already had our first snowfall, so I'm happy this is knitting up quickly!

The Pemberton Pullover is a classic unisex sweater designed by Bobbi Intveld for both men and women. This pullover features a relaxed fit and eye-catching textural details created through a combination of different stitch patterns. The garment is available in eight sizes ranging from XS to 5XL, with finished chest circumferences from 38½" to 66¾" and lengths from 25¾" to 29¾". The pullover shown is knit in Woolstok Worsted in the colorway Drift Wood (No. 1312), with an alternative colorway option in Mossy Green (No. 1326).
This intermediate-level pullover employs several fundamental knitting techniques to create its distinctive appearance. The construction begins with a ribbed cuff worked in 2x2 rib, which provides stretch and structure at the lower edge. The main body is worked primarily in stockinette stitch, the most common knitting stitch, which creates a smooth, classic fabric. Textural variation is introduced through alternating rows of purl stitches and stockinette stitch, creating subtle horizontal ridges. The pattern features a charted section with a Parallelograms motif that adds visual interest to the garment. Armhole shaping is accomplished through bind-off decreases at the beginning of rows, and the pattern uses a three-needle bind-off technique for finishing. The sweater is constructed in pieces and seamed together, with instructions provided for multiple sizes using parenthetical sizing notation.
Yarn: This pattern is designed specifically for Woolstok Worsted by Blue Sky Fibers, a 100% Fine Highland Wool yarn. Each skein contains 50 grams and yields 123 yards. The yardage requirement ranges from 10 to 17 hanks depending on the size selected, providing between 1,230 and 2,091 total yards. The yarn is worsted weight, offering a medium thickness suitable for creating a warm, durable sweater with good stitch definition.
Needles: The pattern requires U.S. Size 6 (4.25mm) 16" and 24" circular needles for the ribbed sections, and U.S. Size 7 (4.5mm) 24" circular needles for the main body. The pattern specifies that the larger needle size should be used to obtain the correct gauge. A spare needle in the largest size is needed for the three-needle bind-off technique.
Gauge: The pattern is worked to a gauge of 19 stitches and 29 rows over 4 inches in stockinette stitch using the largest needles. Achieving proper gauge is essential for obtaining the correct finished measurements.
Additional Tools: A stitch holder or waste yarn is recommended for holding stitches during construction, and the pattern includes a charted section for the Parallelograms motif that knitters will follow row by row.
