Techniques Used

This scarf is worked using seamless, flat knitting techniques on circular needles. The construction begins with a small cast-on of just 4 stitches, which are then systematically increased through multiple rows to expand the width to 75 stitches. Once the desired length is achieved, the same increase technique is reversed through a series of decreases, gradually reducing the stitch count back down to 4 stitches before binding off. This shaping method creates the characteristic tapered triangular form of the design. The optional tassels are created separately using a traditional wrapping and tying technique to form decorative pom-pom crowns.
