Techniques Used

The Bond sweater employs fundamental knitting techniques appropriate for an intermediate skill level. The garment is constructed using stocking stitch as the primary fabric base, which creates a smooth, classic appearance. Armhole decreases are worked at regular intervals to shape the sleeve openings, with the number of decrease rows varying by size. Back neck shaping is achieved through strategic decreases and the use of stitch holders to manage stitches during construction. Front neck shaping follows a similar principle, allowing the neckline to be properly proportioned.
