Brandied Cherry

Brandied Cherry is my version of the dropped shoulder pullover: cozy, soft, loose and cabled. I wanted it to be a little less boxy and a bit more feminine, a little more detailed than I was used to seeing. A mix of cables and rib ensures that the sweater will skim your curves just a bit, while remaining loose and easy. Slender cables and single rib plays off more complex motifs featured on the front, back, and sleeves, centering the focus and keeping things interesting. It's still a loose sweater but the vertical details are defined as they fall on your body, and create some lovely, flattering lines. A modified drop shoulder also adds a little shaping, and a deeply curved ballet neckline is another feminine touch.
