Cotton fleece is the best cotton yarn on the market. A little bit of wool (20%) makes it perfect for keeping it's shape and it feels great when working with it. Even though the washing instructions come with some cautions, it actually washes great in a washing machine. I have sweaters that are 20 years old and they look just as good now as back then. It's also great that they offer the same colors for many years so you can count on being able to find that particular color again if needed.
Cotton fleece is such a reliable yarn. You always know what you are getting and it shows stitch definition so beautifully.
I love the cotton/wool combo, and the large skein is a good value. I'd love it if they'd come out with a cotton/wool yarn in an Aran weight.
Colors are great. The yarn is a bit heavier than I expected so I'm a little concerned about the drape stretching. Yarn is strong and very good. Still deciding if it's right for me.
This isn't the color I bought—I bought 6 balls of Cotton Fleece in Peridot for a baby blanket. It's close to a Sage green. I love Cotton Fleece and I think it's one of the best yarns on the market. Sturdy, warm, a slight sheen, smooth, good value, and high quality are just some of the assets of this yarn. This is my go-to yarn for cardigans, afghans, and baby items. Best knit with a size 5 to 6 knitting needle. This is a DK weight yarn. .
I'm weaving a full sized blanket and using this yarn as the warp. It's soft and lovely to work with.
I haven't used this yarn yet, but it's not as soft and stretchy as I would have hoped. Color is very pretty.
