Love how this yarn works up and the colors do not fade. I have made multiple baby blankets using this yarn and the parents and babies love how soft they are.
I started using Ultra Pima to make Knitted Knockers and have since made several crocheted garments with it, originally starting with leftovers and then ordering more a few times…it’s nice to work with and the garments are very soft.
Beautiful yarn! I love knitting with natural fibers. This yarn works best, I think, with patterns that have the least amount of texture. It doesn’t feel quite as soft with too many pattern changes which makes for a lot of texture
Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima is the only yarn I use for Bargello needlepoint and some other forms of needle point. I have amassed many colors of their yarn. The pillows I’ve made do not fade or degrade over 10 years usage. The colors are deep and true. The yarn is strong. The size is what they report. They are the most reliable colors that I’ve bought over and over again, since 2012, and 30+ pillow cases later! My only issue is I want them to make even more of a range of colors.
I use the yarn for"Knitted Knockers," and it is perfect. The color choices are terrific.
This is my go to yarn especially for heirloom items. I love this yarn for baby blankets.
