Buzz and Zoff

Buzz the astronaut has a close encounter with Zoff the alien! The astronaut pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work to make the helmet. The blue stripes on the astronaut’s suit are added after knitting using Swiss Darning (duplicate stitch) embroidery. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
