I enjoy Cascade Yarns. It is soft and very nice to work with. If the yarn does not feel good to my hands, I will not knit with it. I am making tons of hats for charity. In total, I have made 100 hats using various DK, aran, and worsted wt yarns. It compares nicely. I get what I can on sale. I just this minute boxed up the final shipment. Alas, no picture.
I am making a sweater for my husband with this yarn. I have used Cascade 220 previously but not Elysian. It is a soft texture yarn and easy to work with. Elysian is thinner and has a softer feel. That is the difference, the drape will be nice for a dressier looking sweater. I would highly recommend it.
I like the price. I'm using it because I love Cascade yarns. I have not had a chance to knit with it yet, finishing up other projects, but just by the feel of it, I know I am going to love knitting with it. It is soft, yet a stable feeling yarn, not weak or limp. I like stability in yarn. Once I knit with this, I am sure I will want more. I have been knitting for 50 years, and I know by feel if I am going to like it or not, and this I like so far!
Poor. The threads separated making it difficult to work with. I discontinued use of the thread.
I wanted a Superwash worsted yarn. I'm using it for making a sweater as a gift and didn’t want to worry about care.
Overall, everything was great!
