This yarn is so soft and works well to knit by hand or in my bulky gauge flatbed knitting machine. The colors are very true to the pictures.
Wonderful bulky superwash yarn. Soft but gives great definition for a textured pattern. Knits up incredibly fast, but a pure pleasure all the way. As a superwash yarn, some baby in Uganda is going to be toasty and cuddleable (is that a word), all at once. Excuse the photo below; I haven’t blocked it yet.
I love Cascade Superwash yarn - perfect for knitting items for babies - I've done several blankets and lovies and the parents love these because they can go in the washing machine.
I decided to try this yarn because it has become almost impossible to find LOPI anymore. It has turned out to be a quite acceptable alternative. It works very well in a complicated intarsia pattern I bought for LOPI a couple of decades ago but never attempted until now. With the added benefit of being washable, this yarn is all I hoped it would be.
Soft and easy to handle . Great color choices
Purchased this for a baby bunting. Great stitch definition and easily frogs. My only complaint was of the skeins had serious knots and when rolling into a ball it was attached 2 times to a different yarn thread, making a “y” in the yarn thread. Had to cut it into pieces and roll into 2 separate balls. Haven’t washed and blocked the garment do can’t comment on laundering
Many of the skeins were knotted several times, making it difficult to knit without having to work in a lot of ends. The yarn had many places where undyed natural color yarn was woven in with the doeskin color that I purchased. I reached out to Webs and was told that 3 knotted ares is considered acceptable on one skein. I have not experienced this before and probably won't purchase this yarn again for this reason. I have 14 skeins, as I am making a large throw and I have too many small balls of...
The yarn is lovely. The color and quality is exactly what I expected. My only reluctance in not giving it a perfect score is that there are several breaks in each skein resulting in several knots throughout my project.
Love this yarn. I am making a little coat for my two-year old granddaughter. This yarn is just the right weight and works up beautifully. Also, there is a great selection of colors.
