This yarn is so easy to work with, and the variety of colors is great! I knit sweaters for my college grandchildren with the idea of their having easy wash instructions. The colors in this yarn have held up beautifully even through machine washings! The colorwork I knit for them makes me so happy and this yarn adds to my happiness!
This is my favorite yarn. The colors are vibrant. The yarn rarely splits. I have not experienced any joins in the yarn yet. I have made everything from scarves and hats to sweaters and even cozies for a tortoise (she wears crochet rounds on her shell and it eases her anxieties.) All have been machine washed - in the case of the tortoise cozies, many times - the yarn gets slightly softer with washing, but the color remains vibrant and the size remains true. Im very impressed.
I find myself reaching for this yarn time and time again! Just to be upfront, I have probably bought about 25ish skeins total and have found knots in two of them. For the price and reliability, I havenāt found anything that compares. I also have sensitive skin and havenāt had an issue with this wool.
Sweater for my nephew- baby is due next month. The larger one is for my 7 year old granddaughter. This is my 4th Flax worsted sweater I have knit. Been adding patterns to the front of the sweater to add interest. It is a great pattern and easy to add your own touches. I picked up the yarn at a store I donāt usually go to, I had a gift certificate. This yarn was new to me. It worked up well, very soft. It washed well and seems to be wearing well with active children.
Very disappointed in how this washed. After countless hours knitting my blanket and then placing it in a mesh laundry bag, delicate, so much fuzz came off it was scary. Then I de-fuzzed it but still not great. I had hands full of fuzz. The Deep Ultra Marine #48 seems to be the main culprit.
Anyone who needs a prayer shawl deserves the best - and that is what this yarn is. Soft, Comforting. Easy to knit.
This yarn is so easy to work with and I love the way it feels. The baby blanket is coming along nicely. Looking forward to gifting it in June.
The raspberry color is amazing, perfect for the knit 'raspberry beret'. It is nice to knit with as well! It is nice and soft! Perfect knitting yarn!
