Cascade Yarns Cabled Band Hat is a gorgeous
accessory to gift your BFF or keep for yourself! The braided cable band is knit
first using 128 Superwash. Stitches are picked up along one edge of the cable
band and worked to the crown. Then pick up stitches from the other side of the
cable band and knit k2, p2 ribbing. With large needles and 128 Superwash, it’s
done in no time! Cascade Yarns 128 Superwash is a chunky, 100% superwash
Merino wool yarn that is perfect for projects that you want to finish quickly and want to be easy care. The cable band is in written form only.
Yarn Requirements: 1 hank Cascade Yarns 128 Superwash (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/128yds) shown in 867 (Discontinued color)
Needles:
US 10 (6.00mm) single points
US 10½ (6.50mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 14 sts and 22 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 10½ (6.50mm)
