This yarn is my favorite for mens socks. It is pliable and sturdy. It might be a little too thick for a pair of elegant women's socks, but it could be fine for warm and wooly socks for women. I knitted three pairs with US-3 needles, and I was pleased at how quickly I was able to finish them, compared to how long it takes with ********* yarn on US-1.
I bought different colors. One color had several knots and spliced spots. Not happy with that. Other colors had one spliced spot and another none. I bought the skeins on sale so I'm not too upset.
