I made the Matimoko cardigan from Ravelry. The yarn is soft and springy and knits up very evenly with good stitch definition. However, before I could even finish the sweater, it started fuzzing and pilling. I have also snagged it with my rings a few times. I have worn it twice and it looks like it's at least a year old.

Heritage silk

As soon as I started to knit with this the silk started to shed to the point that I have discontinued knitting the shawl.

I used this yarn for Paradise Apple Shawl. Oh my! Even though the yarn was dark (not a good color choice on my part) this was my BFF's favorite color so I went with it. The pattern is out of this world and it knit up and blocked like a dream. I have two more to knit and this is going to be the yarn of choice. Just lighter colors....

Nice texture to work with. Choose black color which is a rich midnight black color. Prefer the fingering yarns to work with as Heritage Silk is. Made a shawl with the yarn and added some bead work. Came out great!! Would purchase again.

I used this product for the "Not Quite Plaid Shawl" and was very satisfied with the results. At over 400 yards per skein it is an excellent yarn for larger projects.
I only wish they had more colors.

I definitely would use this yarn again for a sock or shawl project, or a fingering weight sweater. Soft, good texture, knits easily, washes well, and project still looks great after multiple wearings and washings.

              Comments about 15.60 Heritage Silk:

I used this yarn as the main color on a gorgeous double knit scarf project. The contrasting yarn was a little fussy, splitting easy and fuzzing so the Heritage Silk became the main stay or as one reviewer described it...."the workhorse". I used it on a 3.5 mm needle which is larger than recommended but the double knitting gave it substance yet it had a lovely drape. I am currently researching yarns to do a very complex Dale of Norway Sweater and leaning towards using this yarn again. I just worry about the silk and steeking.

I mixed two colors together for a sweater pattern. It produced a soft yarn. But one of them tends to twist a lot.

It it felels just like its content, wool with silk. That's a very nice combination which adds a silky texure and silght sheen. It knits up very nicely.
