The combination of fibers gives me structure, warmth, and softness. I have just finished swatching, and the washed swatches have shown me the feel to expect. I have knit lace weight with the same fiber content. I feel like I am knitting with telephone poles, and they will be blocked differently, but I know that they both will retain their feel and shape. I am just casting on the neckband, when I have more to show I will post.
Alpaca is my favorite yarn, and this wool/alpaca blend is a perfect combination of strength and softness. Glad that Cascade makes this available in a worsted weight since I can no longer knit with small needles due to arthritic fingers.
