Classic Elite Yarns Valerian designed by Tonia Barry has an allover lace stitch worked from the bottom up. The lower body is worked in rows in one piece to the underarms, then divides for working the upper body in three separate sections. Sleeve stitches are cast on at each end of the back stitches, then the upper back and back sleeves are worked to the shoulder line. For each front, sleeve stitches are cast on at the side, then the upper front and front sleeve is worked to the shoulders. Knit in Calista, that has a mini-crochet-chain construction, giving it interesting texture! This DK weight yarn is 100% mercerized cotton and has a lovely sheen. The lace pattern is charted only.
