Product Description
COAST
The COAST cardi is worked in rows seamlessly from the top down. Neckband and front bands are worked in k1,p1 ribbing, the neck line is shaped, using the german short rows method. For the shoulders, increases will be made in every row along one seam stitch. Once sleeves are divided from body, the body and sleeve ribbing (k3,p2) will start after some rows in stockinette stitch.
MATERIAL
BC Garn, Selba, 50% organic wool / 50% organic cotton, yardage: 50 g approx. 155m.
6 Buttons.
GAUGE
23 sts x 32 rows on larger needles to get 4 x 4“ (10x10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
NEEDLES
Circular needles and dpns US 4 (3,5 mm) and US 6 (4 mm) (or magic loop).
TOOLS
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder.
TECHNIQUES
German short rows for back shaping, increases kfb, decreases p2tog.
